Rueda De Casino in Malmö, Johanna, Ricardo and the social dance. Johanna and Ricardo are two Rueda de Casino dancers from Malmö. They usually performed in public in the city of Malmö with various flash mobs before Covid-19 stopped people from meeting in larger crowds.

Together with other Rueda dancers in Malmö, they usually perform in selected places that they choose and are secret, of course, to the public. The idea is that they should just show up spontaneously and dance and then just disappear into the crowd of people. A so-called flash mob. The spectators are usually surprised but stop and look and are positive and happy about the performance. Rueda de Casino, what's the style?

Rueda de Casino is a style of salsa dance that was created in Cuba many years ago. It is a dance for two or more couples, with a leader calling out different movements or steps. When there are more than two pairs, the dance is done in Rueda (circle shape). This type of dance is great for creating a social environment among the dancers or those watching. At the same time, it's fun!
